Skin is a miracle. The largest organ of the human body, it is a thin layer of tissue forming the natural outer covering of us all, and is the basis, surely, of how humans react to other humans. That reaction could be one of love, hate, similarity or fear of the unfamiliar. Skin also permits the sensation of touch. Because of this, it is the portal to connection with another human, and makes each of us who we are.
