How do you describe your music?
I love to create electronic sounds, I love to create a sound atmosphere around lyrical ideas, like a soundtrack for a movie; it can feel futuristic, sometimes older. It depends on the story behind each single…
Right now I would say it’s minimalist electronic music. My first ep will be released in a few months and it’s about the landscape of a person’s mind, feelings, emotions and fears.
I love to motivate my listeners and inspire them, I can’t wait to release the new music!

Who is your audience? And what do you want to share with your audience through your music?
It’s the people of any age, any profession, religion, politics… anyone could listen to my message and relate to it. I think my audience likes to be inspired and I because I love to sing about some important philosophical ideas. My audience is thinkers, they like to have mad fun, dance, think, and be charged by an artist’s performance.
What is your process to create music? Who produced it? Any co-writer?
Well my songwriting process can be super different, sometimes an idea is coming from daily life; I define the idea of the song and I start to create the atmosphere, the sounds around the lyrics, to make people really feel fully the concept or message of the song.

Sometimes I collaborate with another artist and we just can start a song with sound production,. We ll start to feel a vibe and come up with an awesome melody first, without any lyrical ideas and later we can add some sounds and in the end we start to think about lyrics, that will match the vibe of the song.
I have a lot of co-writers, who help me to adjust my “Russian English” but I write my own lyrics and I am usually in full control of my sound production. I act as an executive producer and control all the processes and write with my co-producers, who help me to achieve the right sound for a specific idea. I love to work with new musicians to learn from one another.

Let’s talk about your new music video, where did the theme come from?
I would say my music video ideas come from my past relationships, some of which were was just toxic for my life. The fighting with a girl at the beginning of the clip actually illustrated my jealous ex-partner, who wouldn’t give me any room to breathe. Sometimes a relationship can illustrate all that inspire me: books, love, trips, oxygen, coffee, friends, fun. on the other hand, sometimes love disappoints. Love is such a complex trip into another person…
Any interesting stories while shooting the video?
We did this music video in 2 weeks, which is really pretty quick for me, I usually prepare a project for a long time, but my friend Kate Bolovtsova, came to New York. She is an amazing director and has done a lot of famous Russian music videos; I am blessed to work with her talented soul and professional eyes and hands. She loves to discover and believe in an opportunity; love this gal.

Dancing plays a big part in your music, do you consider yourself as a musician or a dancer?
I am s singer, artist and professional ballroom dancer. I danced professionally for many years, working several hours each and every day. I loved this career, but I also fell in love with music and stopped my dancing career and went to The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, in London, for my musical, vocal education.
I love doing so many things, and am excited every day for new opportunities and learning experiences.

Where did you grow up? Tell us about your childhood.
I grew up in Moscow, Russia. When I was seven years old, I was already a professional ballroom dancer. My partner and I were training for five hours a day and went to competitions on the weekend. We traveled to camps outside of Moscow and were competing in a lot of different cities and countries. I had a lot of vocal lessons, competed in voice competitions as well and had amazing summer camps, in countryside villages. I had great friends around me all the time.
Why did you choose a career in the entertainment business?
I just love music, I love to perform and give my energy to people.
This is my love and desire.
How do you see yourself in 5 years? And 10 years?
In 5 years I would love to travel around the world and tour for my wonderful fans. I want to create memorable art and music, I hope to influence our generation and bring positive changes.
In 10 years I would love to build big art schools for children to develop their talent, passion and art into successful careers.
